Where are the Children? (Whole)

Imagine spending a quiet afternoon with your kids. you decide to let them go and play outside on the swings. You go inside for 10 minuites and when you come back out.......there gone! This is the horible truth of what happened to Nancy Eldredge; only this has happened more then once. Her first marriage to Carl Harmon was going well for a while. She had two children Peter and Lisa. she took them to the supermarket one day and she ran inside to pick something up and left the kids in the car. When she comes back she notices they were gone. she coudn't find them until one week later when she finds them washed up on the beach...dead. This of course tramatized her as I am sure would happen to any parent who experienced something like this. Her feelings of greif, devestation and sorrow were only part of it until she was accused of this terrible crime. I could only imagine what was going on in her head.......how can anyone think a mother would kill her own children? Just as she was going to be scentenced to death and her husband had commited suicide, she managed to escape and create another identity married to Ray Eldridge. She had two more children Missy and Michael. I am sure for anyone in this case that it would be very difficult to be able to put something like this in the past but she slowly managed. She was finnaly moving on when one day her kids went missing, and the nightmare started again. All of this from the first time to now had gotten to her head and she had shut down. They had know idea where these kids could be until someone remembered something that was the biggest clue to both mysteries. This suspence novel deals with tragedy and guilt that had been very hard to overcome throughout the whole novel. the end ties in the entire book......but of course i won't give it away. The real mystery though are these unanswered questions......who killed Peter and Lisa? Who would be out to get Nancy?, and Where are the Children?
