A Time For Dancing
If you have a dream, go for it. That is what Jules beleived. She is one of the most determined and courageous girl that you will ever meet. She loved dancing and was very good at it. Nothing would be able to take her away from it not even her sickness. She realized how her whole life is able to turn around the day she was diagnosed with cancer. Like most people, her and her mom didn't know what to think but they agreed that they would fight together. Jules also has her friend Sam who is very supportive of her. Jules was sure that her sickness would not get in the way of her dancing. It was very tough to go through though with her many trips to the doctor and hospital. She also gets very tired from medicine so it weakens her so much. Jules will fight it though and will even come to dance class sometimes even if she doesn't feel good because it is something she likes to do. Unfortunatly, it got to a point where Jules was getting to sick of taking all this medicine that she decides that she wants to stop. She also sees in her charts that she isn't getting better so she figures why should she do all this if it isn't helping? Oddly enough though, she still is attending dance classes. She doesn't care how she feels or who tells her what to do because she knows dancing is the only thing she really loves. She even goes to a dance banquet. Her parents wheeled her in a wheel chair because she was extremely weak but still determined to go. That was her last day of fun. Later that week, she went into a coma and later on died. they all knew it was coming but they didn't expect it to be like this. She died doing what she loved and was a fighter. Some might say that since she wasn't treating it, that she gave up. It is just the opposite; she stopped it so she could finish off her life doing what she loves and showing the world that she was proud of who she was.

Have a Little Faith By Mitch Albom
Writing a eulogy is a tough thing to do. Mitch hardly even knew the Rabbi who asked him to write his. he agreed to do it but he had to develop trust and faith. Mitch would meet with him once a week and he would listen to his stories and take notes. I would think that it would be a little odd watching someone write down everything that goes on in your life. The Rabbi trusted him though. he wouldn't have asked Mitch to do this if he didn't think that he was trustworthy. Most people though have their family members or a close friend. having a stranger is definitely a new experience. Within this book though, Mitch does make a friend. He finds comfort in the Rabbi. It didn't surprise me that they would become friends after seeing each other once a week. I see one of my camp friends once a year and we are very close. If the bond between two people is shaping, then it will either develop over time or fall down. If the bond is strong, then nothing can tear it apart. That is what Mitch and the Rabbi have. They believe in each other and support one another. Mitch had been saying that when he listens to the Rabbi's stories, he feels like he is there. The visual context that he carries over stories where he never met these people or were there at the time shows how deep of a meaning it has been for him. Mitch was very serious about this and wanted to make sure that everything is right. In the beginning of the story, Mitch didn't know what to think in response to the Rabbi's question. He was nervous about meeting him every week. After a while though, those feelings of doubt went away. He was asked a huge favor and stuck by his word. In the end of the story when the Rabbi did pass away, Mitch knew exactly what to say. He shared a few memories about him and what he had brought to everyone. I was thinking how after all of these meets with him and all the stories, there was barley anything in it. Then when i read it over again, i realized that he was speaking from the heart. That is what the Rabbi taught him. that is why the Rabbi asked him to write it. He wanted to pass along his wisdom and leave it in good hands. Mitch was able to grasp it and understood what it meant to have a little faith.
